I’ve finally decided to upload some pictures from our trip to Vietnam.

We all had to go to Thai Binh, my dad’s birth place, to celebrate my great grandfather’s death anniversary. My relatives had rebuilt the graves and we went out there to check it out. While we were there we decided to visit my grandfather’s temporary grave, apparently you have to dig up the bones and re-bury them in a couple of years, brought food for him and burnt some money for him to spend in the “underworld”.

So many of my relatives on my dad’s side were there, I honestly don’t remember all of their names. Anyway, my sister and I lit incenses to pay our respects for the owners of the other graves. Then we got to burn some horses that are supposed to go to some kind of leader down there. The rules are so strange and complicated, I don’t really get them.
